Inspired Upheaval (Canvas)

Inspired Upheaval is an abstract expressionism digital painting by Melissa Ryan. Melissa used painterly strokes of color to invoke a feeling of an upheaval of emotion. All aspects of the artwork, from initial concept to finished artwork were at the hand of the artist. It was musically inspired by her son, Britt Ryan, and his University of Central Arkansas voice instructor, Dr. Holden.

The work was created by the artist on a Canon IPF8300 inkjet printer on Breathing Color’s Chromata Canvas, an acid free, archival canvas paper for fine art prints. The artwork was hand-coated with Breathing Color’s Timeless Satin Archival Canvas Premium Varnish and mounted on stretcher bars in the artist’s studio. The artwork was signed by the artist when complete and details were written on the back of the canvas.
